BEETS
(Beta vulgaris)

Beets gathers all evolved passion within physical
matter and it represents the passion for beauty. Its red roots
used to be meant for Aphrodite, the goddess of love in Ancient
Greek mythology. It stimulates the chakra of the Heart and its
juice is used in love magic, to write down the name of our
beloved one. Its leaves contain a lot of C vitamin and may be

give welfare and protects us from evil. Its protective thorns
(those of the bushes with deep roots) represent the "alchemical

Wicca Feast, called Lughnasadh (August 2nd), in order
to protect the crops and produce a bumper crop. The tea prevents
stomach disease. It also prevents any pain like diarrhoea or

Buckwheat must not be mistaken for wheat, since
it is similar to rice. It taste sweet (it is flavoured) and
epitomizes wealth and protects the property. Witches used to draw
circles with buckwheat flour, for creating a protected space for
practicing their rituals. Therefore, the plant used to be
associated to different types of property. Russian green ewe
cheese is made of fried buckwheat. The tea reduces any swelling
or edema.

Cabbage is one of the oldest vegetable in the
world. Alchemists used to consider it the Primary Material of
food. Nowadays, there are more than 400 types of cabbage growing
up all over the world. White or red cabbage is spherical. It is
very popular in Western Europe, meanwhile those with flat leaves
are popular in Asia. Esoterically speaking, it is influenced by
the Moon and it allows the body to use energy, by stimulating the
basic chakra. A few Greek philosophers had stated that they had
lived for ages because they had eaten only cabbage. In Middle Age
Europe, neighbours used to give cabbage soup to their spouses the
very next day after their wedding night. Its fertilizing power

to make up stories about "children coming out from cabbage
