38 FLOWER REMEDIES MEDICINE FOR THE SOUL

© by Claudia Cabat, BFR Practitioner

Any of the human diseases are a consequence of psycho-emotional problems caused by our interaction with the environment or by any trauma we have suffered and we could have not "healed". In any other cases, they might occur because of personality flaws which need to be changed for the good of the spiritual evolution.

We have lately been able to follow all kinds of therapy which helped us re-create our inner temper. One of the most thorough and effective therapy is flower therapy. It has been discovered by a British doctor, Mr. Bach,  who lived between 1886 –1936. He was a gifted doctor, bacteriologist and homeopath. Due to his strong sense of observation and special sensitiveness, he discovered and advanced a therapy system based on 38 flower essences. Based on his personal dramatic experience, he realized that his mood and motivation may directly influence and regenerate our physical health. Therefore, the process of prevention and healing highlighted the soul, the mind and all emotions. All these are the main reasons for us getting ill. Physical problems are the last means of manifestation of a deeper entropy. The first elements of the defending mechanisms are weakened by the emotional disorders or personality flaws. They influence the defending ability of our body and then, diseases may harm different features of our “self hood”, not only the physical body. Any change in someone's behavior, caused by diseases/illnesses, helps us or any other person establish a faster recovery. That could be possible due to the way we render our healing potential active or increase our immunity.

In his book called “Heal Thyself”, Dr. Bach used to say that prevention and curing was possible if we discovered what was wrong about our feelings and thoughts. They may improve or heal if we develop our qualities which were able to destroy that. We should not only fight against evil, but also create a flux of energy of opposite quality, which is going to totally destroy it.

Dr. Bach has divided the flowers into 7 categories:

1. Fear: Aspen, Cherry Plum, Mimulus, Red Chestnut, and Rock Rose

2. Uncertainty: Scleranthus, Wild Oat, Cerato, Hornbeam, Gentian, and Gorse

3. Excessive concern for our fellows' welfare: Vervain, Vine, Rock water, Beech, and Chicory

4. Lack of concern for present moment: Honeysuckle, Clematis, Wild Rose, Chestnut Bud, Olive, Mustard, and White Chestnut

5. Loneliness: Heather, Impatients, and Water Violet

6. Excessive sensitivity facing influences and ideas: Walnut, Centaury, Agrimony, and Holly

7. Disappointment: Larch, Elm, Oak, Crab Apple, Pine, Willow, Sweet Chestnut, and Star of Bethlehem

***

1. Agrimony (Agrimonia Eupatoria)

In order to keep that state of joy, they begin drinking, taking drugs and eating excessively. They love to be calm and are disturbed by conflicts and lack of conciliation. In order to avoid that, they are willing to be very permissive.

2. Aspen (Populus tremula)
Suspicion, fear, anxiety - for unknown reasons. A few signs: sweat, shaking, nightmares, insomnia, stomach shaking, and restlessness - panic attacks. Most of the children or grown-ups who are sensitive and receptive, may suffer from an Aspen type-fear. That type also comprises the foreboding that something bad would happen: fear of an evil spirit or something negative in our nearby.

3. Beech (Fagus Sylvatica)
Intolerance and criticism. The remedy is good for persons who demand for order and precision, but who also lead other peoples' lives. Many times they are disturbed by less obvious gestures, talking manner or behavior. They have mental sharpness and developed sense for observing, but they use it for observing negative behavior/features.

All that occurs because they need to escape from the real world (unaware urge). They do not feel like home in the real world.

10. Crab Apple (Malus pumila)
