How to prepare a gel

You can use home-made gel:
1. Prepare the so-called basic product for mixing the plant with.
2. Also use the herb or the extract. The most common basic product for a gel is grease, but you can also use resin mixed with oil, bee wax or butter. Because the grease can easily deteriorate, use clean butter.

How to obtain clean butter
- heat almost 100 g of butter;
- melt it and remove the scum;
- after 15-25 minutes, the scum turns from white to reddish and smells like burnt; the butter clears out and it should be removed from the pot. Pour it into another pot and let it cool off. It is a perfect basic product for a gel, it smells good and it is easily absorbed by the skin and preserved.

Herbal and flower gel (Gallium verum)
- use fresh clean butter and sliced fresh flowers. Mix them well, let it cool for 7-8 days. Then, heat it once again and filter it through a piece of lint. The gel is greenish. Keep it in the refrigerator.
You can use yellow meadowsweet for curing skin infections or healing wounds. But do not use it in case of old scars or skin spots, due to chemical damage.

Warning!
Yellow meadowsweet is used in cosmetics. It cleans out skin, removes spots, wounds, scars caused by burning, acnea or rush. Use it for dry or normal skin only. For greasy complexion, use infusion: 3 teaspoons of mixture into a cup of hot water.

Aristolochia clematitis gel
- receipt: mill dried herb and sift it. Mix 2 teaspoons of powder with clean butter, mix it well until it becomes a cream. Keep it in the refrigerator.
Use it to heal scars, against infections, scratches, wounds (after surgery), burns, skin ulceration, milkleg ulceration, etc. It is recommended for healing benign and malignant tumour. Use it 2-3 times/day. In case of serious wounds, use a concentrated decoction (3 teaspoons per cup) and make compress.

Warning!
Because it is very strong, clean the wound with alcohol before using it! The layer should be thin, for the skin to absorb it well; the pores should perspire or else infections may occur. Do not use it internally since it is poisonous. Keep it out of children's reach! Do not rub it on open wounds.

Blackworth comfrey gel (Symphytum officinale)
- receipt: prepare tincture and mix it with 10 spoons of dry ground root into a glass and a half of alcohol (70 degrees) - 350 ml; let it soak for ten days and filter it afterwards. Add a teaspoon of bee wax and mix it with butter, stir it until it solves entirely and let it cool. When the mixture is semi-solid, add the tincture gradually and stir it well. Keep it in the refrigerator.
We recommend it for curing skin damage, burns, surgery, articulation recovery after strains, sprains or fractures; it improves bones properties. You can do massage (after bath) for preventing rheumatism or skin damage (exfoliation). For weak persons, massage improves vitality.

Warning! It is useful for healing wounds or scars. Use it after suppuration.

Another receipt of blackworth comfrey:
- pick up herbs while in bloom, leaves included and dry them into thin layers. When dried out, mill it and then, sift it well. Mix the powder with warm water, until you get a paste. Then use it while fresh against vaginal candida, genital wounds, trichonomas or bacterial infections. Young can also use it a s auxiliary in curing skin cancer, wounds or keloid scars.
Warning! It is recommended against genital infections and wounds. It does not harm mucous membrane or flora, but regenerates it.

Another gel for sun rays protection
- the receipt is similar to the previous gel, but add 2 teaspoons of bee wax, instead of one and 2 teaspoons of underbrush oil.
The mixture protects the skin against sun rays, wind, cold or moist weather. Massage the skin with a small quantity of moisturizer before sunbath. It is also a perfect remedy for burns, candidosis, or vaginal damage/irritation.

All saint's wort (Crepis foetida)
Receipt: crush dry flowers. Put 4 teaspoons into a pot and cover it with boiling cleaned butter, stir it well and let it cool, for 7-8 hours. Then reheat it, filter it until the mixture turns reddish. Keep it in the refrigerator.
Use it for healing skin wounds, soothing pain, itching or smarting pain. It decreases suffering, healing less serious burns (even sunburn), allergy and dermatosis.
Warning! For curing itches and smarting pain, add ten drops of mint volatile oil.

Red hot pepper gel
Receipt: boil clean butter, add 3-4 teaspoons of sliced red hot pepper and mix it well; heat it for 10 minutes, let it cool down and filter it. Store it in cool place.
Use: against rheumatism; it increases blood circulation and articulation mobility. Use it in case of arthritis, rheumatic polyartritis, neuralgia, lumbar-sciatica, painful articulation, after trauma. In the cold season, use it for massage - in case of poor blood circulation.
Warning! There are persons who cannot tolerate it or suffer from allergy. Therefore, before using it, massage a small area of skin. Do not use it in case of swollen or allergy!
