Inner peace

What does inner peace really means? It is a feature of the Evolved Self hood. It is well-known that Eastern philosophy admits human beings are composed by two types of self hood: less evolved and evolved. They have different names, according to different schools of philosophy: Evolved Self hood, Atman, etc.

Evolved Self hood is "the divine sparkle" within us. It never dies out. When it dies out, both physical and energetic body are destroyed, etc. ... But Evolved Self hood is still "shaped" within other subtle bodies. Then, they incarnate into another physical bodies.

Less evolved Self hood is a sum of concepts and life principles we have already learned during this lifetime, beginning from with the moment when we were born and ending at the moment of speaking. It is a "shape" of the social environment we were born in. Better said, it is the "touch" of the social environment.

For reaching the Evolved Self hood, one should first of all "destroy" less evolved self hood. We have to disregard it and “to neglect it” by all means. Therefore, we have used the term "to destroy". We cannot reach the evolved Self hood since we are "led" by our inner self hood and we guide our life according to all social customs. We have to "listen" to that. It "calls on us", helps us knowing it better. We want to know it and follow its "guidelines" in order to reach it. But, unfortunately, the guidelines contradict practical features and social customs. We are not the subject of a test made by the Evolved Self hood in order to see if we "deserve" getting it. It is the only way to reach up to it. I shall give you an example. We want to climb on the slope of Mount Fagaras, in Romania (because we know it is a very beautiful place). We search for information and find out that there are 3 or 4 possibilities to go up there: by walking the road to Suru chalet, Negoiu or Bilea, etc. ... But one must climb by foot - "to climb up the mountain". Well...it is not very easy to do that. Many people would say: "I cannot climb because it is too difficult for me...". One will abandon the idea of climbing up Mount Fagaras but they will wait until they might find an easier way. Some will wait for an easier way. They are going to wait in vain, because there is no such way. You cannot take a walk when you climb up a hill or a mountain. That does not happen because the mountain does not "want" you to reach its peaks faster, but because those are the only means of access.

Well, I was talking about inner peace, not about Evolved Self hood. But one cannot reach inner peace only by becoming aware of the Evolved Self hood. Inner peace is a goal itself, and for fulfilling it we should acknowledge it. Since we cannot climb up Mount Fagaras by any other way, we fulfill our inner peace only if we become aware of our Evolved Self hood.

We can fulfill our inner peace with the help of certain psychic techniques. But in order to make it last forever we have to acknowledge the existence of the Evolved Self hood.

Where does inner peace come from? It comes from the deepest "layers" of our subconsciousness. It comes deep within us, within our Self hood. Peace is always present within our spirit, but we do not have enough time to become aware of it. We are concerned with our financial state, concerned to see what new products are on the market, what is new in one soap opera on TV, etc. Of course, we want to fulfill our inner peace but never "climb up a hill". That is impossible. As long as our mind is the slave of our earthly desires, we would not be able to get inner peace and enjoy it. We cannot enjoy it because we have no time for it.

Therefore, the first step towards the inner peace is to make time for it. We should spare 10-30 minutes a day (preferably in the morning) from our daily routine and try "feeling" the peace within. We should do it in the morning because our awareness is not “disturbed" by our daily routine. In other words, we are calm and think clear.

I have a proposition for you: you should play a game. You can play it any time you have a spare moment... Let us presume you meet the golden fish and he wants to fulfill you three wishes...not more than three...and then, he disappears. You can answer very quickly: a car, a spouse, and so on. And your three wishes were gone... You go home, you get in the car and drive away with your spouse - the man/woman of your dreams. But you run out of gas. Bad luck! You have no money left...because you did not ask the fish for money...or else you had to give up to one of your wishes... Which one?
Time goes by, and once you grow old, you decide to live in the mountains like a hermit, since you have had enough of the city throng. If you had known that, you would have asked for a mountain chalet. Of course, you can sell the chalet and buy another... Well, there are no real chalets but only "hovels" in the area that you prefer...
You got the idea, didn't you?... The fish is expecting you should decide on your "best three wishes"...once and for all. Those wishes you shall never regret or wish to change.
Well!!!! How many of us would have asked for "inner peace", in that case?

Do you know when you was the closest to "inner peace"? When you answered : "Inner peace then, ..arr, let me think about it...a house and a car".
If you wish it for the sake of it, you are far from fulfilling it.

I have answered to your third question. When shall we have "inner peace"? When we want it "with all our hearts". Until then, we taste it little by little, but we cannot feel it within ourselves. But it is not enough to wish for it. We should be able to do it. The simple desire does not provide us with peace. In order to fulfill it, we have "to struggle". We have to "climb up the hill."

At the beginning of the text, I told you about "destroying" the inferior self hood. That was mentioned in different religions or spiritual means, except for those we used to shape into different ways. It is the same thing.

Christian religion refers to the second coming of Jesus. Are we sure we do not talk about the same phenomenon? We should give up to or “destroy” the old social system of values. We should also build up another one, relying on different grounds: referring to the Evolved Self hood.

Certain spiritual means refer to "totally abandon yourself to Divinity". Is it not the same thing abandon your desires, the desires of the subconsciousness, and trying to reach to the divine desires?
