Medical
wine
One should drink it as a medicine, not as
table wine.
Blueberries wine - ingredients: 500 g
blueberries and 1 litre of red wine. - recipe: pour 2 glasses
of hot water on the blueberries and let them boil for 15 minutes;
add red wine and boil it for another 15 minutes; let it cool off
and filter it. - dose: 25 ml/3 times a day, between the meals;
- properties: against diarrhoea, bacterias; it dissolves the
uric acid and cures infections. - prescription:
arteriosclerosis, constipation, intestinal effervescence, biliary
shortage, diabetes, and diarrhoea.
Onion wine - ingredients: 5
onions, 1 litre of white wine, and 100 g of honey. - recipe:
grate the onions, add the wine and some honey and let it soak for
8 days. Then, filter it. OR: mix 500 g of onions with the blender
and add 150 g of sugar. Stir the juice and filter it. - dose:
50 ml/3 times a day, before eat. - properties: diuretic,
general stimulant, and heart tonic drink. - prescription:
asthenia, dropsy, and kidney problems.
Gooseberry wine -
ingredients: 1.5 kilos of gooseberry, 1 litre of red wine, and 450
g of sugar. - recipe: crush the fruits, add the wine and let
them soak for 24 hours in cool place. Filter it and drink all the
juice. Keep it into a pot, add sugar and boil it for 5 minutes;
let it cool off, filter it again and store it into bottles. OR:
1. let it soak for 30 days: mix 200 g of leaves, 50 ml
of brandy, 100 g of sugar, and 1 litre of red wine. Stir it well,
filter and store it. 2. soak for a month: 1 litre of
white wine, 200 g of gooseberry, 50 ml of brandy, and 100 g of
sugar. Filter it. - dose: 50 ml/ 3 times a day, before
eating. - properties: against diarrhoea, rheumatism; general
tonic drink. - prescriptions: arthritis, hypertension, kidney
lythiasis, menopause, and rheumatism.
Grapefruit wine -
ingredients: squeeze 2 fruits and mix the juice with 1 litre of
white wine, 200 g of sugar and 50 ml of brandy. - recipe: mix
them and store them for 2 weeks, in cool place. Filter and store
it into bottles. - dose: 50 ml/ 3 times a day, before eat. -
properties: appetizer; it drains digestion tract and liver;
refreshing; it contains a lot of vitamin C. - prescriptions:
anorexia, arthritis, dyspepsia, biliary shortage.
Juniper
wine - ingredients: 40-50 g of fruits, 1 litre of red wine,
and 50 ml of brandy. - recipe: soak the fruits for a while;
then, mix them with the juice and boil it for a few minutes. Store
it for a week and filter it afterwards; keep it into bottles. OR:
160 fruits, 1 litre of white wine and 100 g of sugar: let it soak
for a week; store it for 8 days before filtering it; add 25 litres
of brandy. - dose: 50 ml/ 3 times a day, before eating. -
properties: cleansing, diuretic, stimulant. - prescriptions:
arteriosclerosis, gout, rheumatism, and kidney disorders. Dill
wine - ingredients: 50 g of seeds, 20 g of anise seeds, 1
litre of red wine, 100 g of sugar and 25 ml of brandy. -
recipe: put the ingredients into a clean pot; let them soak for 10
days in dark place. Filter and keep it into bottles. - dose: 50
ml/ 3 times a day, before eating. - properties: appetizer,
galactose producer, and gastric soothing. - prescriptions:
aerophagia, asthma, nervous disorder, and impotence (25 ml before
sleeping).
Mint wine - ingredients: 500 ml of
infusion (boil 25 g of dry mint for 15 minutes), 500 ml of white
wine, and 20 g of honey. - recipe: mix the ingredients, let it
soak for 40 days and filter it. - dose: 50 ml/ 3 times a day,
before eating. - properties: aphrodisiac, against bacterias,
sedative, gastric soothing, vermifuge and cholagogue. -
prescriptions: nervousness, palpitation, digestion disorders,
intestinal parasites, and nervous diseases.
Blackberries
wine - ingredients: 1 kilo of blackberries, 1 litre of
water and 300 g of sugar. - recipe: crush the fruits, cover
them with water and let them soak for 1 day; then, mix the juice
with the blender and add some sugar. Let it ferment, filter and
keep it into bottles. - dose: 50 ml/ 3 times a day, before
eating. - properties: sweetener, it produces hypoglycemia. -
prescriptions: sore throat, intestinal and gastric disorders.
Nut
wine - ingredients: 350 g of leaves, 1 litre of red wine, 1
stick of cinnamon, 100 g of sugar and 25 ml of rum. - recipe:
soak the ingredients for one month, filter and keep it into
bottles. OR: 1. Take 25 green nuts, cut them into 4
pieces, and add 1 litre of red wine: let them soak for 6 weeks,
filter and boil the mixture. Add 50 ml of brandy and 150 g of
sugar. Boil it and let it cool. Filter and store it. 2.
Take 1 litre of red wine, 300 g of sugar and 8 crushed green nuts;
let them soak for 6 weeks in the sun; stir it well everyday;
filter it. 3. Slice an orange fruit, add 15 cut green
nuts, 1 l of red wine, 50 ml of brandy, and 200 g of sugar; let it
soak for 2 months and filter it. 4. Take 1 l of red
wine, 50 g nut leaves, 20 g of red groschen, 1 stick of cinnamon,
the skin of an orange, and 200 g of sugar; let them soak for 15
days, filter and store it into bottles. 5. Take 30 g of
nut leaves, 100 g of red groschen, the skin of two orange fruits,
20 ml of brandy, and 1 l of white wine; keep the soak in the
sunshine for 15 days. You get a syrup of 100 ml of water and 250 g
of sugar. Mix and filter it. - dose: 50 ml/ 3 times a day,
before eating. - properties: astringent, cleansing,
disinfecting, tonic; use it against diarrhoea. -
prescriptions: anemia, diarrhoea, eczema, gout or
rheumatism.
Parsley wine - ingredients: a handful
of parsley leaves, 11 l of white wine, 2 teaspoons of wine
vinegar, and 300 g of honey. - recipe: mix the parsley with
wine and vinegar; boil them for 10 minutes, filter, add honey and
stir it well. Store it into bottles. - dose: 3 teaspoons all
day long. Do not exceed the dose! - properties: diuretic,
expectorant, stimulant; against fever. - prescriptions:
tiredness, dropsy, hepatitis, bronchitis, and fever.
Pear
wine - ingredients: 500 g white pears, 1 l of white wine. -
recipe: slice the fruits and boil them into wine. Let them boil
until the liquid decreases to half. Let it cool and filter it. -
dose: 25 ml in the morning. - properties: antiseptic, diuretic,
and tonic. - prescriptions: cellulites, diabetes, kidney
lythiasis, water retention, or kidney disorders.
Peach
wine - ingredients: 2.5 kilos of peaches, 4 l of white
wine, 1.3 l of cognac, 500 g of sugar, 4 bitter almonds, and 7 g
of dry yeast. - recipe: peel off the fruits, slice them and add
sugar; let them soak for a few hours; boil the mixture for 15
minutes, pour it into a plastic bottle and add white wine and
cognac. Add yeast and almonds; store the mixture for 30 days in
cool place, filter and keep it into bottles. - dose: 50 ml/ 3
times a day, before eating. - properties: diuretic, gastric
soothing; it produces energy. - prescriptions: constipation,
kidney lythiasis, or digestion disorders.
Orange wine -
ingredients: wash an orange, 1 l of white wine, 12 cloves, 1 stick
of cinnamon, 100 g of sugar and 50 ml of brandy. - recipe: fill
a jar with cloves and sliced orange; add cinnamon, sugar and
brandy; add white wine and let it soak for 30 days; filter it and
store them into bottles. Use it for 2-3 months. OR: 1. Mix
the skin of three bitter orange fruits with a spoon of coriander
seeds and 150 g of sugar. Store it in cool place for 10 days.
Filter it. 2. Take 1 l of red wine, and 4 sliced orange
fruits - let them soak for 10 days; add 50 ml of brandy and 120 of
sugar; mix them well before filtering the mixture. 3.
Mix 1 l of white wine, the juice from an orange juice, 3 flowers
of chamomile, a stick of cinnamon, 2 cloves, 120 g of sugar and 50
ml of brandy; let it soak for 8 days and filter it. 4.
Slice an orange and a lemon fruits, add 1 l of red wine, 2 crushed
bitter almonds, 50 ml of brandy, and 200 g of sugar. Let them soak
for 40 days, filter and store it into bottles. - dose: take 50
ml/ 3 times a day, between the meals. - properties: against
infections, appetizer, aperitifs; it improves blood circulation,
laxative, a general tonic drink. - prescriptions: anorexia,
asthenia, dyspepsia, and intestinal disorders.
Dry
plums' wine - ingredients: 300 g of dry plums, 1 l of red
wine, 1 packet of vanilla, 50 ml of brandy and 120 ml of sugar. -
recipe: put the plums into a jar, add wine, brandy, vanilla and
sugar; mix them well and let them soak for 3 weeks. - dose: 50
ml/ 3 times a day, before eating. - properties: dis intoxicant,
cleansing, gastric soothing; it produces energy. -
prescriptions: anemia, constipation, gout, nephritis; use it
against rheumatism.
Tarragon wine - ingredients:
30 g of fresh leaves, 1 l of white wine. - recipe: wash the
leaves and dry them well; cover them with wine and let them soak
for 8 days; filter and keep them into bottles. - dose: 25 ml, 3
times/ day, before eating. - properties: appetizer, stimulant,
a tonic drink. - prescriptions: distention and rheumatism.
Important! Use
only clean pots or boiling water; boil them for 30 minutes, three
times. Do not use metallic pots (especially aluminum). Use fresh
ingredients which were not chemically treated. Fruits should be
ripen and well washed. Beware to grapes so that they should not be
chemically treated (with copper sulphate). In case of dry fruits
or herbs, use sun dried only!!! Keep the wine into sealed bottles,
at room temperature. Warning! Drink
medicine wine separately! The brandy must contain at least 40%
alcohol.
