Minerals

Calcium

Natural sources of calcium are milk, milk products, yolk, cauliflower, sesame seeds, beans, soy, peas, celery, certain sparkling water, canned sardines, etc.
Any lack in calcium is highlighted by a mineral disorder of the body which occurs if it is serious. Persons who suffer from calcium lack, feel dizzy or suffer from itches of both upper and lower members, uncontrollable muscle contraction, menstrual disorder, osteoporosis, tooth decay, melancholy, apathy, etc. In case of serious lack of calcium, it occurs insomnia, palpitation, difficult wound healing, irascibility without a real reason, nervous break downs, headache, lack of air while breathing; rickets and slow growth; sexual disorder, decreased virility and frigidity.
Prescriptions: calcium is recommended in case of spasmophilia, osteoporosis, allergy, focusing disorder, asthenia, headache, menopause disorder, haemorrhage, irritability or nervousness. Children between 10 and 18 years-old and pregnant women need a lot of calcium.

Nutritional additives: biologic calcium - quail eggs and Biomer - a product made of Black Sea algae; Ginsavit - ginseng with calcium and magnesium; Calcium, Magnezium & Zinc - a "Your Life" product.
New important advice:
1. In order to be well assimilated, calcium needs several vitamins and minerals: vitamin D (it turns active when sunbathing), vitamin A (uncooked carrots), vitamin C (lemon, citric fruits, or hipberry) and magnesium.
2. The lack of calcium does not occur because we do not eat enough food which contained it, but because our body cannot assimilate it. Therefore, it is very important to get enough minerals and vitamins. People who follow a natural diet (only vegetables, fruits and milk products), assimilate it better, without nutrients.
3. Additives must not be taken along with iron additives, because it will prevent iron assimilation. Late studies prove that people taking synthetic additives (carbonate, Ca citrate, etc.) before sleeping, tend to snore.
Warning! Do not take more than 2,000 mg of calcium/day because you risk to suffer from sickness, vomiting, losing appetite, headache and muscle pains, dry mouth and nose, constipation, decreased heart rhythm, kidney stone. Do not use synthetic additives in case you suffer from calcium kidney stones or hearing disorders, while taking digitaline. Always take both magnesium and calcium in the same time.

Magnesium

Natural sources of magnesium are: whole-meal cereals (maize, wheat, rye, barley, oat), nuts, peanuts, figs, almonds, apples, fresh vegetables, milk, eggs, chocolate, and shell fish.
Characteristics in case of magnesium lack: headache, dizziness, trembling, lack of air, heart palpitation, insomnia, itches, hypo tension, nail exfoliation, hair and tooth problems, allergy, infectious problems, rheumatism, depression and hysteria, lack of appetite, tiredness, fear, hypoglycemia and menstruation disorders and pain.
Recommendations: used to cure trombophlebitis, heart ischemia, arterial-sclerosis, chronic muscle contraction, preventing calcium deposit into soft tissue and kidney (kidney stone); it reduces cholesterol, abdominal and kidney colic, and insomnia. Mineral water with magnesium are a perfect remedy in case of hyper acid gastritis and stomach ulcer.
Nutritional additives based on magnesium: calcium, magnesium and zinc; Lecitone Magnezium and Ephodyne - two half-synthetic products.
Warning! Do not take half-synthetic or synthetic products based on magnesium in case of kidney shortage, cystitis, etc. If you suffer from an auricular-ventricular disorder, see a doctor before taking magnesium pills. During cures with tetracycline, you should take it three hours after taking the antibiotics.

Two important observations:
1. Magnesium can be easily assimilated when taking it along with vitamin B6. Eat whole-meal cereals on daily basis, because they contain B-complex vitamin. Those who take natural magnesium additives, should also eat wheat chaff: 1-3 teaspoons/day.
2. Eating meat prevents assimilating magnesium. Magnesium loss is often produced by alcohol addiction. Alcohol abstinence produces nervousness and hand shake.

Potassium

Natural sources: potatoes, tomatoes, sun-flower seeds, cereal grains, fresh fruits (grapefruit, orange, apple, grapes, and bananas), milk, coffee, and tea.
Lack of potassium: tiredness without any real motive, muscle cramps, nervousness, irregular heart beat, neuro-muscle hyper-excitement, depression, vomiting, paralysis, hypo tension, thirst, etc.
Recommendations: against hypertension, heart and vascular disorders, diabetes-type II, acute enteritis, burns, or any trauma; it enables wound healing (after surgery).
Nutritional additives: there is no need for auxiliary additives, because all vegetables and fruit contain it. The lack of potassium is a consequence of the fact that people eat a lot of meat and margarine, oil, white flour, sweets, etc. They can only improve their health balance by eating diet food. Synthetic additives which people most often use is potassium gluconate- contained in ampule and pills. In case of serious shortage, take these kind of medicine with medical advice only.
Important recommendation:
1. Lack of potassium seldom occurs while taking cortisone, aspirin, diuretics and laxatives. Or, in case of kidney problems, serious infections and sudden decrease of proteins in your food.
2. Potassium shortage occurs to people who drink alcohol and coffee, or in case of weight diets (too much proteins).

Iron

Natural sources: yolk (two yolk contain enough iron for a day), whole-meal cereals and mushrooms; parsley root, figs, dry apricots and raisins, spinach, nettles, skin-boiled potatoes, almonds also contain important quantities of iron.
Lack of iron: irritability, anemia, weakness, difficult breathing, headaches (front head), tiredness, dizziness, and pallor. Menstrual disorder might occur in case of serious lack, signs of asthenia, nail exfoliation, dry mouth and throat, lack of air, or palpitation.
It is recommended while pregnancy, children/teenagers growth, recovery, different types of haemorrhage (including menstruation), assimilation disorder, low effort resistance, or weakness.
Nutritional additives: underbrush oil, biological iron - a mixture of sea algae, ginseng and hipberry or Cyclobiol (a French product).
Warning! A cure longer than a month should be taken under medical survey. A lot of specialists warn us about iron synthetic additives because they may produce anemia and liver disorder, cirrhosis, diabetes, arthritis, sterility and even impotence.
Important observations:
1. Despite meat diets (red meat contains a lot of iron), anemia occurs very often: 20% of the women, 3% of the men, 50% of the pregnant women and 10% of the teenagers. The cause for that is the lack of iron as well as colon intoxication with animal proteins, endocrine disorder - synthetic additives food and medicine abuse.
2. Aspirin abuse, coffee and black tea, cortisone, against swelling - medicine also disturb your health balance.
3. Vitamin C consume is very helpful for assimilating iron. Vitamin C is contained in hipberry, lemons, grapefruit, hot pepper, fresh fruits, blackberries and blueberries.
