Tinctures based on aloe
The plant should be at
least 2 years-old. Use 4 leaves for half litre of extract and mix
it with alcohol (alcohol-made extract). First of all, mill the
leaves with the blender. Or, take 4-5 big leaves, half litre of
wine and half litre of alcohol and mix them with the coffee
grinder. Keep them into a pot for 2 weeks and filter it. Take 4
teaspoons of mixture. Instead of alcohol, you may use liquid
honey. You can also use aloe for tinctures and gels.
There
are several other herbs used for preparing the gel: -
milfoil - render 90 g of salt less butter or grease, add 15
g of milfoil (fresh and sliced), let them dry and mix them; let
the mixture soak for 2 days, heat, filter and keep it into a dry
jar. Keep it in the refrigerator. The gel is used against
haemorrhoids. - meadowsweet - render 1 kilo of butter,
margarine or salt less grease; add sliced flowers (2 handful), 50
g of bee wax and stir them with a wooden spoon until they turn
brownish; remove it from the oven and let it soak over night; the
next day, heat it a little and filter it through a piece of lint.
Keep it in the refrigerator into boxes and jars. Use it for
rubbing or massage against: skin disease, goiter, thyroid,
cancerous skin ulcer, larynx cancer, etc. Also use tea: mix 300 g
of marigold (Calendula), 100 g milfoil, 100 g nettle, and 2 litres
of water. Drink it into small helpings, every 20 minutes. -
crawfoot (Ramunculus) - take 2 handful of flowers, leaves
and stems, cut them into small pieces and mix them with 1 kilo of
margarine or salt less grease; also add 50 g of bee wax. Stir it
with a wooden spoon until it turns brownish and then, filter it
through lint. Keep it into small jars or boxes, in
the refrigerator. Use it against milkleg, phlebitis,
milkleg ulcer, fistula, chilblain, burns, mammary cancer, and
breast disease; it reduces scars, swelling, abscess, rheumatism,
etc. - chamomile - prepare it according to the previous
recipe; use it to massage haemorrhoids, and healing
wounds.
