Tinctures based on aloe

The plant should be at least 2 years-old. Use 4 leaves for half litre of extract and mix it with alcohol (alcohol-made extract). First of all, mill the leaves with the blender. Or, take 4-5 big leaves, half litre of wine and half litre of alcohol and mix them with the coffee grinder. Keep them into a pot for 2 weeks and filter it. Take 4 teaspoons of mixture. Instead of alcohol, you may use liquid honey. You can also use aloe for tinctures and gels.

There are several other herbs used for preparing the gel:
- milfoil - render 90 g of salt less butter or grease, add 15 g of milfoil (fresh and sliced), let them dry and mix them; let the mixture soak for 2 days, heat, filter and keep it into a dry jar. Keep it in the refrigerator. The gel is used against haemorrhoids.
- meadowsweet - render 1 kilo of butter, margarine or salt less grease; add sliced flowers (2 handful), 50 g of bee wax and stir them with a wooden spoon until they turn brownish; remove it from the oven and let it soak over night; the next day, heat it a little and filter it through a piece of lint. Keep it in the refrigerator into boxes and jars. Use it for rubbing or massage against: skin disease, goiter, thyroid, cancerous skin ulcer, larynx cancer, etc. Also use tea: mix 300 g of marigold (Calendula), 100 g milfoil, 100 g nettle, and 2 litres of water. Drink it into small helpings, every 20 minutes.
- crawfoot (Ramunculus) - take 2 handful of flowers, leaves and stems, cut them into small pieces and mix them with 1 kilo of margarine or salt less grease; also add 50 g of bee wax. Stir it with a wooden spoon until it turns brownish and then, filter it through lint. Keep it into small jars or boxes, in the refrigerator. Use it against milkleg, phlebitis, milkleg ulcer, fistula, chilblain, burns, mammary cancer, and breast disease; it reduces scars, swelling, abscess, rheumatism, etc.
- chamomile - prepare it according to the previous recipe; use it to massage haemorrhoids, and healing wounds.

Tinctures:
- savory tincture: use only flowers harvested at noon; fill a bottle, add 350-400 fruit brandy and let it soak for 14 days. Use it (massage) for curing children suffering from rickets or sclerosis.
- horsetail: soak 10 g of herb into 50 ml of natural fruit brandy for 14 days; stir it daily. You can cure sole hyper hidrosis, by massage. Drink it daily, in the morning, on empty stomach: 1 cup of tea. You can bathe your feet into tea. During the cure, you should drink fruit and vegetable juice, for 2 months; in the morning, make an enema with 2 litres of chamomile infusion, drink 3x50 ml green barley juice or birch juice/daily. You can also take a diet based on juniper seeds. We recommend a 25 minutes-bath, feet steam bath or cold shower. People who are able to tolerate it, may take a cold feet bath - 25 minutes/2 times/day; mix it with apple vinegar. Swedish tincture is also recommended: keep soles into a basin of tincture, for 15 minutes. Powder the socks and shoes with zinc oxide.
- milfoil: pick up flowers at noon and keep them into a bottle; mix it with 400 ml of fruit brandy; let it soak in the sun for 15 days. It is recommended against spine problems, it stimulates hematopothesis, improves osteoporosis, lung haemorrhage or cancer.
- crawfoot (Ranunculus): put a handful of flowers into a litre of brandy (of 400), let it soak in the sun for 2 weeks and stir it daily. Dilute it with boiling water and make some compress for curing wounds, muscle damage, cancer ulceration, open wounds, swollen, abscess or pustule.
