Waythorn (Rhamis frangula)

Also known as Ligustrum Vulgare, waythorn is perfect in case of mouth and throat disease: use soaked stems.

- it heals wounds, calms down nerves, cures articulation and cold. Modern medicine has discovered that both the leaves and bark strengthen gums and prevent tooth fall;
- leaves juice and oil may be used for healing ulcerations, burns, and irritations; use it for vaginal enema, leucorrhoea or vaginal irritations;
- infusion and juice are good against diarrhoea and metrorrhage;
- it reduces cellulites;
- oil is used against painful articulations, arteriosclerosis, stomatitis, and mouth disease; angina; leucorrhoea, chronic pharyngitis, and polyposis (in case of tobacco addiction); chronic bronchitis and premature aging; tiredness of inferior members - ankles and knees; it improves eyesight; it is a perfect liver and kidney nutritive product.

You can combine it with rosemary - in case of arteriosclerosis; nut buds and grape-vine - angina; wild chestnut and white birch - cellulites; black alder, nut - leucorrhoea; juniper - arthritis.

Caution !!!
- the fruits are poisonous and they may cause intoxication;
- normal doses: laxative properties; they can also cause sickness;
- take 30-50 drops, 1-2 times/day: dilute them into little water and drink it 15 minutes before main meals.
